Closure of parking lots at the AVUS

Important notice for bus companies

Starting in the middle or end of calendar week 51/2025 (15.12.2025 – 21.12.2025), parking lots P12 and P13 at the AVUS will be closed until further notice. The reason for this is the start of preparatory work for the reconstruction of the Funkturm motorway interchange (ADF). The image shows the affected parking lots highlighted in red.

As an alternative, the stops on the ZOB premises are available. However, we kindly ask all bus companies to register in advance for the use of the parking areas to ensure smooth organization.

ZOB's core qualities

The omnibus station at the Funkturm was opened on May 27, 1966. The Internationale Omnibusbahnhof Betreibergesellschaft mbH (IOB) operates the Central Bus Station in Berlin (ZOB) on behalf of Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). IOB's core business consists of managing long-distance bus operations, as well as the economic utilization of the real estate at the ZOB. Numerous line services connect Berlin with all major cities in Germany and with many regions of Europe. Due to its geographical location, ZOB Berlin has always played a special role as a gateway to Eastern Europe. All long-distance bus traffic to and from Berlin is handled via the ZOB. Numerous bus companies benefit from our core qualities:

  • Competent support
  • Provision of bus stop capacities for the arrival and departure of long-distance buses
  • Quality of stay due to weather-protected bus stops and waiting areas, as well as a variety of gastronomic offers
  • Passenger information through electronic destination displays, analog timetable displays, public address system, and in person inquiries
  • Forwarding of delay notifications or short-term timetable changes in accordance with passenger rights
  • Support in coordinating passenger changes

Convince yourself of our performance.
